Beautiful Home & Welcoming Staff
Judge Porter House was beautiful! The Guest House was spacious and clean! We loved that it is equipped with a full kitchen, so we had the option to cook instead of eating out each meal. The private deck overlooking the garden was very peaceful. The upstairs loft bedroom was quaint and cozy. The queen-sized bed was comfy, and the clean bedding was beautiful! We had access to the main house for sitting in the library, swinging on the front porch, and grabbing a complimentary drink! Parking is a bit tight, so come in a small vehicle if you have that option.
Ms. Effie was our Innkeeper. She was sweet, and she went out of her way to welcome us. We enjoyed two breakfast meals with her. She is a wonderful cook! Ms. Angela was also working while we were there. She was friendly and kind at breakfast each morning. This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast, and it was a wonderful experience. I recommend Judge Porter House to anyone going to Natchitoches, LA.
